Who We Are

Steve M. Reitmeyer - Partner

Mr. Reitmeyer attended Purdue University majoring in computer technology. He has received a Certificate in Data Processing (CDP) from the Institute of Certified Computer Professionals. He began his career as director of the management information system (MIS) and computer consultant with Katz Sapper & Miller, a well-respected Indianapolis area CPA organization. He became a principal at the firm and served there for 25 years. Thereafter, he joined a local networking and communications firm providing equipment and services, and implementing wide area networks with Internet access. He then founded Reit Consulting LLC providing technical planning, design and implementation services. Reit Consulting became the predecessor to REIT Technologies LLC where he is a partner providing similar services in addition to support and online data backup.

Working in the computer industry for over 30 years, Mr. Reitmeyer has significant experience with PC networks and IBM midrange systems. This includes 20 years implementing and supporting IBM AS/400 systems, and over 15 years of experience in the PC environment including Microsoft and Novell networks. Presently, he is supporting clients using mainly Windows 2003 Server and Windows XP Professional operating systems.

Mr. Reitmeyer also provides “part time management information system director” services targeted for small to medium size businesses. These companies generally lack the budget for a full time MIS director or Chief Information Officer (CIO). However, all of these organizations have a need for knowledgeable and experienced technology planning and management.

Active in his local community of Westfield, Indiana, Mr. Reitmeyer is currently serving on the board of trustees of the Westfield Public Library and the advisory committee of Westfield Parks. He is also a member of the board of directors for Midwest Academy (Academy Plus School), in Carmel, Indiana.

Peter Fruehman

Peter Fruehman - Partner

Peter Fruehman has over 35 years of experience in the information technology field as well as industry-specific knowledge. He founded, owned and managed Ranac Computer Corporation for 29 years, a well respected, successful business serving the Indiana and the Midwest area. In March, 2002, he sold his interest in the company. During his tenure, Mr. Fruehman and his organization consulted, developed and implemented industry solutions for healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, accounting, and other services. Clients ranged from small businesses to publicly traded companies plus governmental entities.

Ranac boasts many firsts to market during its history, using innovation and technology to implement profitable business solutions and achieve competitive advantage. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Master of Business Administration and certification in Project Management. He has extensive expertise in management and business process improvement. Mr. Fruehman was a member of the Advisory Board of Professional Careers Institute and served on the State of Indiana Government Efficiency Commission. He also was a member of the Project Management Institute and TechPoint (formerly called the Indiana Information Technology Association) where he served on its board of directors.

Presently, Mr. Fruehman is a partner with REIT Technologies LLC. He has researched and developed the company’s online data backup service, and now markets and supports this service. Additionally, he consults with clients on disaster recovery planning.
